Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Physics Teacher to join their secondary school faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physics at the high school level, with the ability to teach either the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) Physics and/or Advanced Placement (AP) Physics courses.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and rigorous Physics lessons to secondary students.
- Teach IBDP Physics and/or AP Physics.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student learning in accordance with curriculum requirements.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and extracurricular activities.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centred learning environment.
Requirements
*Native English speaker.
*Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Education, or a related field.
*Recognised teaching qualification.
*Minimum of 3 years' teaching experience in secondary Physics.
*Proven experience teaching AP and/or IBDP Physics.
*Strong classroom management and communication skills.
*Commitment to academic excellence and student success.
*Experience in an international or bilingual school setting is highly desirable.
