Nilai International School


Managed by Nailai Academy Sdn. Bhb, and owned by Nilai Resources Group Sdn. Bhd. , the Nilai International School was founded following the huge success of the Nilai University now located next to the school itself. The school is located in the beautiful suburban area of Putra Nilai and is widely recognized as one of the top schools in Malaysia whilst providing a safe and secure learning environment for all of its students.

The Nilai International School was only established in 2009 but today accommodates small classes of 20-22 students in each of its smart board, projector and Wi-Fi accessible classrooms. These features have been developed specifically to help motivate students forward in their education whilst making their time in the school fun and interesting. The school keeps a tight grip on its five core values, integrity, compassion, discipline, diligence and resilience, as it believes that it is these core values that found the beginning of a bright future for each and every one of their budding new students.

The school operates with the British Cambridge Curriculum in both of its Primary and Secondary Schools and teaches children from 5 to 19, Key Stages 1 and 2 are taught in the Primary School and Keystages 3 and 4/IGCSE are taught in the Secondary School. Alongside these routes, a wide variety of co-curricular activities and clubs are available, these include but are not limited to bowling, sewing, swimming, drama, snooker, board games, badminton, music, football and editing. Each club and activity is designed to help encourage the student to develop excellence, team work, character, leadership skills and acquired knowledge.

The school additionally believes in providing development for children with Asperger Syndrome and High-Functioning Autism and as such not only places the affected child in a class in accordance to his or her chronological age, but also provides both a Kid’s and Teen’s ‘CAFÉ’ (Communication And Friendship Education) which, through fun activities, games and studies, helps affected children to learn about emotions such as anxiety and how to socialise effectively. This educative opportunity is open to all affected children and has been developed extensively in accordance with the school’s belief that all children can go the distance if they’re shown the direction.
