Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Biology Teacher to join their secondary school faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Biology at the high school level, with the ability to teach either the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) Biology and/or Advanced Placement (AP) Biology courses.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and rigorous Biology lessons to secondary students.
- Teach IBDP Biology and/or AP Biology.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student learning in accordance with curriculum requirements.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and extracurricular activities.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centred learning environment.
Requirements
*Native English speaker.
*Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Education, or a related field.
*Recognised teaching qualification.
*Minimum of 3 years' teaching experience in secondary Biology.
*Proven experience teaching AP and/or IBDP Biology.
*Strong classroom management and communication skills.
*Commitment to academic excellence and student success.
*Experience in an international or bilingual school setting is highly desirable.
