Arabic-Speaking Music Teacher | British International School | Oman
 
A well-established British international school in Oman is seeking an experienced and passionate Arabic-speaking Music Teacher to join its dynamic team for the 2026/27 academic year.
 
The successful candidate will inspire students through engaging music lessons, contribute to the wider life of the school through performances and productions, and promote a lifelong appreciation of music within a multicultural learning environment.
 
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Music, Music Education, Performing Arts, or a related subject
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- Fluent Arabic speaker with good command of English
- Experience teaching the British Curriculum is preferred
- Ability to teach practical and theoretical music across primary and/or secondary levels
- Experience leading choirs, ensembles, concerts, or school productions is desirable
- Strong classroom management and communication skills

*Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with school expectations
*Encourage student participation in performances and extracurricular music activities
*Organise concerts, assemblies, and musical events throughout the academic year
*Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress
*Contribute positively to the school's vibrant international community

Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary   OMR (Omani Rial) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
Housing:
Housing allowance of 50% subsidised housing allowance  OMR (Omani Rial) provided
