About the Role:
Our client is urgently looking for a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team at a leading private school group in Uzbekistan. The ideal candidate will be a native English speaker with a strong background in teaching English as a First Language at IGCSE and A Level, preferably within the Cambridge International Curriculum framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English as a First Language at Key Stage 3, IGCSE, and A Level.
- Design and deliver engaging, literature-rich lessons focused on advanced reading, writing, and analytical skills.
- Prepare students for Cambridge English assessments with a track record of strong results.
- Contribute to the development of a dynamic English department across multiple campuses.
- Support student progress through careful assessment and feedback.
- Participate in wider school life, including enrichment activities and inter-campus collaboration.
Requirements:
*Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
*Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, CELTA for secondary or equivalent).
*Native-level English speaker (from UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, etc.).
*Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching English as a First Language (Cambridge curriculum preferred).
*Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
*Willingness to travel or relocate between school campuses within Uzbekistan.
