The Nobel International School has its roots set in the establishment of Sekolah Sri Nobel in 2004 which followed the Malaysian curriculum at the time and taught around 75 students, however, this was replaced by the Nobel International School in 2012 and today provides the International curriculum. The school is based in Kelana Jaya, a quiet and calm neighbourhood in Selangor, Malaysia, which is accessible from Kota Damansara, Damansara Heights, Sri Hartamas, Putra Heights, Shah Alam, Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, Damansara Perdana and Taman Tun Dr. Isail.
The Nobel International School uses the Cambridge Primary Programme, this allows children between six and seven to learn at a Key Stage One level as well as allowing children between eight and eleven to learn at a Key Stage Two level. Once a child turns twelve they will begin being taught the Cambridge Secondary 1 Programme in the junior school section. Then when they turn fourteen they will progress into the senior school section and will take the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). Classes are taught primarily in English. The Nobel International School believes in producing fully-educated students ready to take on the global stage with a noble outlook on life. Facilities provided include a Library, Computer Labs, a Sick Bay, an Auditorium, Science Labs, a Music Room and a Canteen.
The school times run between 7:45am to 2:10pm on Monday to Thursday and 7:45am to 12:30pm on Friday for Elementary School, the Junior and Senior Schools, however, are in session between 7:45am and 3:05pm on Monday to Thursday and 7:45am to 1:05pm on Friday. The academic year begins in January and ends in May for the first term, and begins in June and ends in November for the second term.
Typically classes consist of around 27 students and these are often divided down future for group or one-to-one sessions. There are over 30 Co-curricular activities for students to select between, including many sports clubs which the school regularly interacts and competes with other international schools in.
