Our client is an expanding IB school located in Dubai, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Male Science Teacher to join their experienced faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science to students across various levels, from Middle School to IB Diploma, with a focus on delivering engaging and inquiry-based lessons aligned with the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the IB programme (MYP and/or DP).
*Foster a stimulating, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
*Develop students' scientific thinking, inquiry, and practical skills through hands-on experiments and real-world applications.
*Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and participate in professional learning communities.
*Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
*Contribute to the extracurricular life of the school through clubs, activities, or events.
Requirements:
*Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or a related field.
*Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
*Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Science, preferably within an IB school.
*Familiarity with the IB curriculum (MYP and DP).
*Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for engaging students in learning.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the school community.
Preferred:
*Experience teaching in an international setting.
*Ability to teach across multiple Science disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
*IB certification or relevant professional development courses.
