An established and well-regarded international school in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and qualified Pre-School Teacher to join its early years team.
The successful candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment where young children can develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences for pre-school children.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Develop creative activities through play, exploration, music, stories, and practical learning.
- Observe and assess children's progress and maintain appropriate records.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Promote good behaviour, independence, confidence, and communication skills.
- Work collaboratively with the wider early years team and contribute to school activities.
- Ensure the classroom environment meets high standards of safety, organisation, and care.
Requirements
- A recognised qualification in Early Years Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching or working with pre-school/early years children.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and play-based learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A warm, patient, creative, and enthusiastic approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an international school team.
- Previous international or British-curriculum experience would be advantageous.
