Some important Job responsibilities for an Aviation Maintenance Teacher includes;

Responsible for planning, managing and improving the learning of their own students, working with other team members.

In collaboration with Teachers to implement and continually improve curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment strategies.

Supervising students during the practical tasks and activates and ensure health and safety rules are applied.

To manage the learning of the students, maintaining records including students’ portfolios, collaborating with other teachers and promoting staff development in a pro-active manner.

Responsibleforplanningandparticipatinginprofessionaldevelopmentopportunitiestofurther their own knowledge, skills and abilities

To manage all facilities and activities related to achieve student learning.

To play a leadership role in role-modeling behavior, attitudes, and learning behavior’s for students.

Responsible for achieving the set learning outcomes in students, and therefore supervise all student activities and processes to ensure outcomes.

To develop and maintain teaching materials and assist with program quality assurance processes.
Essential Functions:

Adapt and work to the local working environment and local anomalies and ensure full integration with Emirati counterparts.

Teaching and assessing students.

Developing teaching and assessment resources.

Maintaining student and course records including portfolio; and advising any issues relating to students.

Liaise with Student Counselors, as required. Communicate progress and performance to students and

Job requirements
NB:
Candidates applying for this job should meet the below requirements
Required
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aircraft Maintenance or Electrical & Electronics/Avionics

EASA part 66 certified or equivalent
Desirable
Master’s in mechanical/Aircraft Maintenance or Electrical & Electronics/Avionics is essential

Salary Package:
-
TAX-FREE salary ranging from 16,000 AED per month (graduates & NQT's) up to 21,000 AED per month for experienced teachers

FREE flights coming into the project and at the end (teacher, spouse, and up to 3 children)

FREE medical insurance for teacher spouse and up to 3 children (<18 years of age)

FREE visa for the teacher (teacher can sponsor the family after they join)

Gratuity bonus as per UAE labor law

A 2-year contract which is renewable based on mutual agreement
