Opening over ten years ago in 2002, Al Jazeera Academy caters for all students from Nursery years to Senior School and the academy is comprised of three separate schools on a single campus. The school is located in Abu Hamour in Doha, Qatar.
 
The school teaches with the National Curriculum of England and allows Students at the end of Year 12 to optionally take a one-year AS Level Course, and at the end of year 11, all students take IGCSE examinations. Students are expected to learn in Arabic. The school aims to produce students able to work on a global level while utilizing emotional intelligence to achieve good health and well-being, while understanding fundamental Islamic moral values. The school incorporates over 73 classrooms built to international school standards and equipped with audio-visual and multi-media equipment, but that’s not all, the academy also includes fully equipped science and IT laboratories, research and presentation tools, an extremely large library and a separate primary-school-only library as well as sporting facilities including a 25 meter heated indoor swimming pool, a gymnasium with basketball, netball and volleyball equipment, a football field, four outdoor tennis courts and an outdoor games court for all of the above and more.
