Exciting Leadership Opportunity: Deputy Director – Secondary School Focus (Guangzhou)

Are you a visionary educational leader with a passion for secondary education and international curricula? This international Education Group is seeking an exceptional Deputy Director to oversee and enhance the secondary school programmes across their schools. This is a rare opportunity to influence and shape the educational experience for hundreds of students within a forward-thinking, globally minded organization.
 
🌍 About the Role:
As Deputy Director, you will focus on leading and supporting the development of the secondary school programme within the Education Group. You will work closely with the Group Director and individual school leaders to ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement across all secondary campuses.
 
You will play a strategic role in shaping curriculum, pedagogy, and leadership across the secondary schools, while fostering innovation, inclusion, and holistic education in line with the the school's vision.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Support the Group Director in implementing the strategic vision for the secondary school programme across all campuses.
- Academic Excellence: Lead initiatives to ensure consistency, quality, and innovation in secondary curricula, including IB programmes and other international frameworks.
- School Support & Development: Mentor and support secondary school principals and leadership teams in academic leadership, pastoral care, and operational management.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and oversee systems for monitoring, evaluating, and improving teaching, learning, and assessment across the secondary schools.
- Professional Learning: Develop and implement professional development programmes for secondary school leaders and teachers to foster innovation and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with primary school leaders to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of learning for students.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents, students, staff, and wider school communities to promote trust, transparency, and collaboration.
- Innovation & Growth: Champion initiatives in digital learning, inquiry-based education, and curriculum development to ensure the group remains at the forefront of international education.
 
About You:
You are a forward-thinking, collaborative, and experienced leader with a strong record in secondary education. You bring:
- Proven experience in secondary school leadership, ideally as a Principal, Deputy Principal, or Head of School in an international context.
- Deep understanding of IB programmes (MYP, DP) or other international curricula.
- Experience in curriculum development, academic leadership, and staff mentorship.
- Strong strategic thinking, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across multiple schools and cultures.
- A commitment to student-centered education, inclusion, and holistic development.
- A Bachelor’s degree and teaching qualification (Master’s in Educational Leadership or related field highly desirable).

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary   CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
