As Deputy Director for Pedagogy & Teacher Development, you will oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices across all campuses. You will lead initiatives to enhance teacher professional growth, promote research-informed pedagogy, and foster a culture of innovation and reflective practice.
 
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on collaboration, providing you the opportunity to influence learning outcomes across the group and ensure every student benefits from exceptional teaching.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Pedagogical Leadership:
- Develop and implement a clear vision for pedagogy across all schools, aligned with the Group’s educational philosophy and international best practices.
- Champion innovative teaching strategies, curriculum integration, and evidence-based approaches to learning.
- Monitor, evaluate, and support teaching quality across campuses to drive continuous improvement.
 
Teacher Development & Mentorship:
- Design and deliver comprehensive professional learning programmes for teachers and school leaders.
- Mentor school leaders and educators to strengthen instructional practice and leadership capacity.
- Promote reflective practice, collaborative teaching communities, and research-informed pedagogy.
 
Curriculum & Learning Innovation:
- Collaborate with curriculum leaders across the group to ensure coherence, alignment, and innovation across programs.
- Introduce cutting-edge instructional approaches, digital learning strategies, and assessment practices.
 
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with Deputy Directors focused on secondary, primary, and boarding programs to ensure holistic support for students and staff.
- Foster a culture of shared leadership, collaboration, and professional excellence across all schools.
- Represent the Group in educational forums and maintain awareness of global trends in teaching and learning.
 
About You:
You are a forward-thinking, collaborative educational leader with a proven track record in pedagogy and teacher development. You bring:
- Extensive experience in educational leadership with responsibility for curriculum, pedagogy, or teacher development.
- Deep knowledge of international curricula (IB MYP/DP, IGCSE, or equivalent) and innovative teaching practices.
- Experience designing, delivering, and evaluating professional learning programs for teachers and leaders.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Strategic vision and the ability to implement initiatives that improve learning outcomes across multiple campuses.
- A Bachelor’s degree and teaching qualification (Master’s or advanced leadership qualifications preferred).
- A passion for developing teachers, inspiring students, and promoting educational excellence.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:

Prefer candidates with international experience

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary   CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
