Teach in Brunei
Primary and Secondary English Teachers needed!
January 2026 start
We are currently looking for both Primary and Secondary English teachers to join their expanding team. Our client provides education services to Brunei in support of the bilingual education policy to raise the proficiency and attainment levels of Bruneian students through the high impact of teaching and learning in the classroom.
To be eligible you must:
** Hold a degree in English/Linguistics/Humanities/Education
** Hold Qualified Teacher Status/teacher accreditation (PGCE, Bed, DipT etc.) - A TEFL cert with degree is not sufficient
** Have a minimum of 3 years relevant classroom teaching experience post qualification
** Be under 55 years old at the time of arrival in Brunei Darussalam due to the visa regulations
** Have a full driving license
Your Role:
🎓 Inspire and teach English to primary or secondary students in Brunei’s national schools.
📚 Create exciting lesson plans that make learning fun and effective.
💡 Engage students with interactive and dynamic teaching methods.
📝 Assess progress and help students achieve their full potential.
🤝 Work closely with fellow educators and school leaders to create an amazing learning experience.
Our client offers a competitive salary package which includes:
- A basic monthly salary

Please note that the location of the school will be discussed during the interview process due to the numbers of schools and positions available on this programme. The schools in the country vary widely in terms of size, age and location.
