If you have answered yes and are looking for a change then apply now. I am looking for a qualified and experienced teacher of Social Science to start in September 2019. My client is an IB school with a very open and relaxed teaching environment. There are about 600 students in the school and it is located about 10 minutes from Barcelona airport.
Teachers are from both Spain and the other countries in the EU. The working hours from 9-5 and the lesson structure is being reformed to be 2-hour lessons with a more relaxed and more nurturing knowledge approach.
As a teacher of Social Science and Business you will be teaching students at the Middle School level and so if you have experience of the MYP or DP curriculum it will be highly desirable.
Requirements to Apply
**Degree in Social Science or Business Studies or equivalent
**A PGCE in Social Science or similar teaching qualification
**MUST be able to work in the EU (the school does not provide a visa for non-EU nationals)
**Western-trained
**Excellent written and spoken English
**Up to date in teaching pedagogy
**Experience of the IB Curriculum is highly desirable
If you already have Spanish work permit it will be helpful but not mandatory as the school can apply for that upon arrival.
Salary Package
**30,000 - 35,000 Euros per annum GROSS
**Breakfast and Lunch provided

Housing is not provided but the school can provide support in finding housing around the area. The school does provide IB training and CPD for you to progress your career also.
