Job Description of an ESL Teacher:

Teaching English to kids in China aged 3 – 18 in groups of up to 16 students
-
Planning and delivering lessons to children
-
Using electronic media and courseware to teach English efficiently and effectively
-
Evaluating student progress and providing ongoing guidance for improvement to both students and their parents

Assigning and evaluating out of class exercises
-
Participating in social activities with students organized by your school to encourage oral English proficiency
Sitting between Russia, Mongolia and North Korea the city is truly multi-cultural, with all the food that goes with it!
Requirements for an ESL Teacher:

Bachelor’s degree

A TEFL Certification

The ability to obtain a clear background check

The ability to live abroad for at least one year

Applicants must be citizens from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa to meet China’s visa regulations.
Daqing has two main seasons – summer and winter. In summer, the city is a baking hot sea of green, with trees and flowers blooming all over the city. During the day parks are packed with people enjoying the warmth and in the evenings young and old alike cool off in the lakes.

Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
A Newly Qualified Teachers program is provided
Prefer candidates with international experience
Open University qualification(s) are accepted
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have international education experience international educational institute before are accepted
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary from 16,400 up to 16,400
CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month
based on experience and qualification,
15-20% Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 4,000
CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
Flights:
Flight Ticket Reimbursed CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi)
