Our client is an Academy of the UAE and they are recruiting 100 English teachers to place in all their schools across the seven emirates of the UAE. The English teachers will be based in a school in one of the following locations:

MUST HAVE 3 YEARS of experience with a CELTA, DELTA, ESOL or equiavelent type qualification
The demand for 100 English teachers has arisen because the Royal family has put a huge emphasis on English for the future generations of the UAE and therefore is looking to strengthen the team of English teachers in the Academy.
As a successful candidate you will be responsible for delivering modules of English language and literature skills to national students who need a solid foundation in English and academic skills. This will be seen as the foundation for the future generations of the UAE to progress into higher education, a successful career and everyday life situations.
To work in the UAE you will need to

The academy schools vary in size and curriculums across the emirates so our client is looking for a varied set of candidates with skill-set and curriculum experiences. The UAE has planned to double their number of school in the next decade to ease the demand and more importantly improve the quality of education especially English.

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree with a TEFL / DELTA / CELTA / ESOL or equivalent
Type of Staff:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience
Open University qualification(s) are NOT accepted
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted
Additional:
- Cultural awareness is preferred
- Experience of teaching in the Middle East is an advantage
- CELTA (or equivalent) with 3 years (recent) teaching experience or DELTA (or equivalent) + 3 years (recent) teaching experience
- CELTA (or equivalent) qualified candidates with a degree in English Language and - Literature/TESOL/Linguistics/Education/Modern Languages may be considered with only 3 years teaching experience
- Competence in teaching and administrative IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, etc).
- Ability to develop and update teaching material.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to work under pressure to deadlines.
- Enthusiasm and high degree of motivation.
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary from 11000 up to 13000
AED (UAE Dirham) per month
based on experience and qualification,
