About the School
Our respected IB World School in Wuxi is seeking a dedicated, innovative, and student-focused Secondary Business Studies Teacher to join their expanding secondary team. The school offers the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), providing a rigorous, inquiry-driven education within a supportive, internationally minded community.
Position Overview
You will deliver engaging and intellectually stimulating Business Studies lessons as part of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). You’ll play a key role in nurturing critical thinking, analytical skills, and real-world awareness in a diverse and high-achieving student body.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons aligned with the IB MYP/DP frameworks
- Use a range of assessment strategies to support and evaluate student learning
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Contribute to curriculum development and collaborative planning
- Support extended learning, including after-school support or enrichment
- Participate in school events, community activities, and ongoing professional development
- Uphold the school’s commitment to student wellbeing, safeguarding, and international-mindedness
Requirements
*A degree in Business Studies/Economics or a related field, plus a recognised teaching qualification
*Experience teaching IB/A Level (or similar international curricula)
*A global mindset and commitment to international education
*A flexible, proactive approach and strong interpersonal skills
*Enthusiasm for cross-cultural learning and bilingual education
