Description

Job Title: Female English Teacher – RAK

Location: Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates
Start Date: August or September 2025 (Immediate Joiners Strongly Preferred)
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established private school in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), which is seeking a passionate and qualified female English teacher to join its Intermediate and Senior Phase team (Grades 4–9). The school offers a supportive, student-centered environment and values innovation, collaboration, and academic excellence.

While KHDA, ADEK, or SPEA-approved teachers are strongly preferred, the school is open to candidates with strong experience in the UAE or other reputable international systems. Immediate availability or a start by August/September 2025 is essential.

Why Choose Ras Al Khaimah?

RAK offers a peaceful and affordable lifestyle with breathtaking natural beauty, including beaches, mountains, and desert landscapes. Unlike the hustle of Dubai, RAK is ideal for teachers who value a balanced life, less traffic, and access to outdoor adventure. Yet, it’s only 45 minutes from Dubai, making city getaways easy. Many international educators find RAK to be a welcoming and family-friendly emirate with modern amenities, international schools, and a growing expat community.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English or Education (Master’s preferred)

  • Valid teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent)

  • KHDA, SPEA, or ADEK approval preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Intermediate or Senior Phase (Grades 4–9)

  • Strong command of English and effective communication skills

  • Excellent classroom management and lesson planning abilities

  • Available to join by August/September 2025 or immediately

Role Expectations:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned to curriculum standards

  • Differentiate instruction to support all learners

  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment

  • Track and assess student progress using formative and summative tools

  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and school initiatives

  • Participate in school events and ongoing professional development

Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive tax-free monthly salary

  • Furnished accommodation or housing allowance

  • Annual flight ticket to home country

  • UAE health insurance coverage

  • End-of-service gratuity as per UAE labor law

  • Supportive leadership, professional development, and growth opportunities

  • Work-life balance in one of the UAE’s most scenic and livable emirates
