The Role:
We are seeking an inspirational and experienced Head of Secondary to join our client's dedicated team of educators. The successful candidate will drive academic achievement, champion pastoral care, and cultivate a vibrant and inclusive school culture. You will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of the Secondary School, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Secondary School, including academic, pastoral, and administrative responsibilities.
- Implement and monitor the British curriculum, ensuring alignment with school values and educational standards.
- Inspire and support teachers to deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student development and well-being.
- Engage effectively with students, parents, and the wider community.
- Oversee assessment, reporting, and tracking of student progress.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
*Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Significant leadership experience in a British or international school setting.
*Proven track record of driving academic improvement and student success.
*Strong understanding of the British curriculum and international education standards.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Culturally sensitive, with a global perspective on education.
