Position Summary
The school is seeking a qualified and dedicated A Level Mathematics Teacher to join their international faculty. The ideal candidate will bring both subject expertise and a passion for teaching to help students master advanced mathematical concepts and prepare for university-level study.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach A Level Mathematics to students in Grades 10–12, following the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) syllabus.
- Prepare students for internal assessments, mock exams, and the final A Level examinations.
- Contribute to the development of teaching materials, schemes of work, and departmental planning.
- Monitor student progress and provide targeted support where necessary.
- Take part in parent-teacher conferences, academic guidance, and pastoral care.
- Participate in school events, open days, and professional development initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, Teaching Licence, etc.) is preferred.
- At least 2 years’ experience teaching A Level Mathematics or equivalent international curriculum.
- Fluent English speaker with strong classroom communication skills.
- Strong understanding of the Cambridge A Level Mathematics curriculum and assessment criteria.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching Further Mathematics (optional but highly desirable).
- Familiarity with the needs of high-achieving, university-bound students.
- Experience working in bilingual or international school environments.
- Willingness to contribute to co-curricular academic activities or maths competitions.
