Chemistry Teacher | Teacher of Chemistry | IB Chemistry Teacher

My client is a leading national school delivering the USA Common Core and IB Curriculum to mainly Emirati students. The school is one of the largest group of national schools in the region.

The school was established in 2002 and has since grown to serve a growing Emirati population of students. Teacher recruited come from various western nationalities that have experience in the IB and USA Common Core Curriculum.

As a teacher of Chemistry, you will be required to prepare and create your own lab material.  Other teaching job duties will include:
**Delivering high-quality science lessons to students
**Preparing lessons plans that allow the students to engage and ask questions
**Create attractive wall displays to promote the learning of Science
**Assess students on an on-going basis
**Differentiating to meet the needs of your learners
**Have excellent classroom management skills
**Be a team player
**Attend lunchtime duty
**Be involved in after-school clubs
**Attend staff briefing
**Attend Parent's evening
**Ensure you are up to date with you marking and assessment
**Help students after school with coursework and exams
**Attend CPD sessions

The school is located about 30 minutes from the center of Abu Dhabi, in a growing residential area. Teacher accommodation is close by although the school does provide transportation for its staff.  Apply now if you believe you have what it takes to teach local Emirati students. Requirements to Apply
**Degree in Science or Chemistry related subject
**A valid state teaching license in Science
**At least 3 years experience
**Western-trained
**A high command of written and spoken English
**A educator that delivers with the 21st-century teaching style
**Be tech-savvy to use technology in the classroom
**Teachers with experience of working in the Middle East are preferred
**Teachers that are flexible to adapt are preferred

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Prefer candidates with international experience
Additional:
**Degree in Science required
**Experience of the IB Curriculum is beneficial but not essential as training will be given
**Experience of USA Curriculum such as American Harcourt, AP and Common Core is highly valued
**It will be beneficial to your application if you have experience of working in the Middle East or with non-native speakers of English

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 12375 up to 15,675  AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
