📚 About the Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3–4
- Teach a broad and balanced English curriculum, including literature and language
- Prepare students for GCSE and A Level (or equivalent) examinations
- Foster a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking
- Contribute to enrichment activities such as debating, drama, creative writing, or school publications
- Work collaboratively within a strong and supportive department
- You will encourage students to become confident communicators, analytical thinkers, and enthusiastic readers.
🌟 The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
*A degree in English or a closely related field
*Experience teaching the English National Curriculum
*A proven track record of strong examination results
*High expectations for student achievement and behaviour
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*International school experience is advantageous but not essential.
