Exciting Opportunity for an Early Years Principal – Lead the Future of Early Childhood Education in Guangzhou!
 
Are you an innovative and passionate leader with a deep commitment to early childhood education? Do you have the vision and energy to lead a dynamic Early Years program in a thriving international community? We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Principal to join our client's vibrant team in Guangzhou, China, starting in August 2026.
 
About the Role:
As the Early Years Principal, you will be responsible for shaping and leading the Early Years program (ages 3-6) at our client's school. This is a senior leadership role where you’ll have the opportunity to create an inspiring, child-centered learning environment that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in young children. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and the wider school community to ensure that the youngest learners have a strong foundation for their academic journey ahead.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Vision: Lead the Early Years team with a clear vision for high-quality, inquiry-based early childhood education, ensuring that the early years program is nurturing, inclusive, and aligned with global best practices.
- Curriculum Design & Delivery: Oversee the development and implementation of an engaging, play-based curriculum that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Teacher Mentorship & Professional Development: Provide leadership and mentorship to the Early Years team, fostering a collaborative and reflective teaching culture, and ensuring ongoing professional growth.
- Student-Centered Approach: Ensure that every child receives the support, attention, and encouragement they need to thrive, with a focus on holistic development and individual learning styles.
- Parental Engagement & Communication: Establish strong partnerships with parents, maintaining open communication about children’s progress, well-being, and development.
- School-Wide Collaboration: Work closely with other school leaders, ensuring that the Early Years program aligns with the broader school mission and values, while also contributing to school-wide initiatives and professional development.
 
About You:

*Experienced: A proven leader with significant experience in Early Years education, ideally with previous leadership experience in an international or bilingual setting.

*Collaborative & Inspirational: A team player who inspires, supports, and guides teachers to deliver exceptional education, while also engaging positively with parents and the wider school community.
*Organised & Strategic: Skilled in managing a fast-paced environment, balancing both the administrative responsibilities of the role and the pedagogical leadership required to ensure the highest standards of education.
*Culturally Sensitive: Comfortable working in a multicultural and diverse environment, with a deep understanding of the needs of both expatriate and local families in an international school setting.

Prefer candidates with international experience

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary   CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
