MUST Have Requirements:
 
  • Master's degree in Education or related field
  • Teaching license or qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, QTS)
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Experience with the American curriculum is essential
  • Child protection certificate/Safeguarding training

Key Responsibilities:
 
Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Secondary School department
Oversee the implementation of the American curriculum and ensure alignment with educational standards and objectives
Support and mentor teaching staff to enhance teaching and learning practices
Coordinate and conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and achievement
Collaborate with parents, students, and stakeholders to promote a positive school culture and community
Ensure compliance with school policies, regulations, and accreditation standards
Foster a safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environment for all students
Lead and participate in professional development initiatives for staff members
