My client is located in Dubai, in an up and coming area with lots of expats. The school delivers the IPC curriculum to students to best prepare them for high school education.
The school has over 82 different nationalities. The teacher-student ratio is 1:20 so that teaching and learning is very focused. The school focuses on students eating and having a healthy lifestyle so that avoid junk food and promote healthy food and snacks for students.
The school day starts at 7:50 am and finished at 2:35 pm.
Elementary Teacher Requirements
**Degree in Elementary Education or a Bachelor degree in primary education with a valid teaching qualification
**Ideally 2 years teaching experience
**Western-trained
**A high command of written and spoken English
**Tech savvy
**Up to date with modern pedagogy and training
The school likes to hire candidates that look after their career and attend CPD sessions. You need to have a passion for working with primary children and are a well-organized teacher that can keep on top of their marking and lessons.
You should also be a good team player, to plan collaboratively and deliver lessons that promote an enquiry based learning environment
