Elementary Teacher needed in the UAE. Register FREE no work in the UAE

Our client is a group of 5 campuses located in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah

The school looking for highly qualified and experienced teachers of elementary education join for the next academic year.  The school is looking for teachers that have a stable track record of education with little or no supply work, showing a commitment in their employment record.

The school delivers the USA Common Core and the IB curriculum to mainly local Emirati students to allow them to go on to higher education and compete on an international level.

The school campuses accredited by AdvancED and the International Baccalaureate.  The school also delivers the American HighScope programme.

To apply for this job you need to have:
  1. A B.Ed in primary education or elementary education
  2. A valid state teaching license
  3. A clean criminal police check
  4. Two confidential references on letterhead from previous line managers
  5. At least 2-year full-time work experience
  6. Be western trained
  7. Have a high command of written and spoken English
  8. Be able to adapt to the working culture in the UAE
  9. Being able to speak Arabic is beneficial but not essential
  10. Knowledgeable of effective teaching methodologies, assessment strategies, standards-based instruction, and strong content knowledge
  11. Possess excellent interpersonal communication, collaboration, problem-solving, decision making and relationship building skills
  12. Understand and can use Standards Based teaching and assessment practices in the classroom
  13. Is student centred in their delivery of instruction in the classroom,
  14. Understands the use of assessment data to design instruction that is differentiated based upon the individual and group instructional needs of students
  15. Uses technology to advance learning, manage information and deliver instruction effectively to students
  16. Is culturally competent and aware of the Cultural norms of the UAE
The school looks for teachers of elementary that ideally have experience teaching the Common Core of the IB PYP curriculum.  Teachers should be passionate to work with young children and ideally have experience of teaching to mainly ESL students, as the main communication language is Arabic in the school.  The school is a very lively environment and so you should be a teacher that can work in a fast paced environment and be able to multi-task.

Salary Package
  1. Salary range, dependent upon years of experience and qualification:  AED 12,100 to 15,675 per month

**Experience of the IB Curriculum is beneficial but not essential as training will be given
**Experience of USA Curriculum such as American Harcourt, AP and Common Core is highly valued
**It will be beneficial to your application if you have experience of working in the Middle East or with non-native speakers of English

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 12375 up to 15,675  AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
