Our client is one of the leading international school located in Singapore and has been established since 2006. The school serves over 600 students at present from Kindergarten to Middle School adopting both the Chinese and International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.
The international school has over 60 teachers at present with over 50% are expatriates coming mainly from North America, UK, Ireland and Australia.
The school is currently looking for a Middle School ESL teacher to join them this August. An ideal candidate should have the following:
- Bachelor degree in English/TESOL/Linguistic or relevant subject
- Teaching qualification
- IB experience is beneficial but not essential
- Native English speaker
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- Flexible to adapt into new culture
The job responsibilities include:
- To work on curriculum development includes preparing effective diverse lesson based on the school curriculum
- Maintain and update timely student records
- Fulfil assigned supervision duties
- Collaborate with grade level teachers
- Work closely with parents/guardians through providing feedback on progress
- Engage in professional development opportunities as provided by the school
