Physics Teacher

SeekTeachers is seeking an experienced Physics teacher to join our client in Beijing, China. Located in the Chaoyang District, the school offers modern, state-of-the-art facilities and currently enrols over 800 students from K–12. The school follows a dual curriculum in its Primary and Lower Secondary divisions, integrating both the Chinese and English curricula. Students in High School then progress to rigorous international programmes such as IGCSE, followed by either A Level or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons aligned with the school curriculum and international standards such as IGCSE, A Level, or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
*Teach core physics concepts including mechanics, electricity, waves, and modern physics through clear instruction and practical demonstrations.
*Design and conduct laboratory experiments to develop students’ practical and investigative skills.
*Assess, monitor, and report on student progress using a variety of assessment methods.
*Provide constructive feedback and support students to achieve their academic potential.
*Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
Qualifications & Experience
*Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related subject.
*A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
*Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
*Experience teaching international curricula such as IGCSE, A Level, or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is highly desirable.
*Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach Physics across secondary levels.
*Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
