About the Role
A well-established private school in Sharjah is seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychology Teacher to join its dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate will be passionate about inspiring students, fostering critical thinking, and delivering engaging lessons aligned with international academic standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Psychology lessons to secondary-level students
- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that supports student learning
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies
- Encourage analytical thinking, research skills, and independent learning
- Integrate modern teaching methods and technology into lesson delivery
- Participate in curriculum development and extracurricular activities where appropriate
- Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements
*Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
*Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
*Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably within an international or US curriculum
*Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education
*Excellent communication and classroom management skills
*Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
*Familiarity with student-centered and inquiry-based teaching approaches
*Experience working in a multicultural environment
