The Role
The successful candidate will teach Chemistry and general science to middle school students (Grades 6–9) in English within a bilingual context. Our client is looking for a teacher who can bring energy, creativity, and expertise to the classroom—making Chemistry relevant, engaging, and hands-on.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry and science lessons that promote inquiry and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine a coherent, challenging middle school science curriculum.
- Use a range of assessment methods to support and evaluate student learning.
- Create a supportive classroom culture that values curiosity, collaboration, and respect.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through pastoral care, clubs, and community activities.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Science Education, or a closely related field (Master’s preferred).
* Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
* At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an international or bilingual setting.
* Familiarity with inquiry-based and student-centred pedagogies.
* Strong interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, and a commitment to professional growth.
