			🌍 About the Role:
		
			As the MYP Coordinator, you will lead the implementation and development of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (Grades 6–10), ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and assessment. You will collaborate closely with the Secondary Principal and academic leadership team to ensure that the MYP is delivered in alignment with the school’s mission, the IB philosophy, and current best practices in international education.

			Key Responsibilities:
		
			- Programme Leadership: Lead and coordinate all aspects of the IB MYP, ensuring full alignment with IB standards and practices.
		
			- Curriculum Development: Support teachers in designing, implementing, and reviewing engaging, concept-driven units of inquiry across subject areas.
		
			- Assessment Oversight: Guide the development and implementation of authentic, criterion-related assessments that promote learning and reflection.
		
			- Professional Learning: Plan and deliver professional development opportunities to build teacher capacity in IB pedagogy, inquiry, and assessment.
		
			- IB Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact with the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) and oversee all programme-related documentation, evaluation, and authorization processes.
		
			- Student Engagement: Foster a positive, student-centered learning culture that promotes international mindedness, service learning, and personal growth.
		
			- Collaboration: Work closely with the Primary Years and Diploma Programme Coordinators to ensure smooth transitions and curricular continuity across all phases of learning.
		
			- Community Communication: Engage with parents and the school community to promote understanding of the MYP philosophy, practices, and learner outcomes.
		
			 
		
			About You:
		
			You are a motivated, reflective educator who believes deeply in the power of inquiry and holistic education. You bring:
		
			*Extensive experience teaching within the IB Middle Years Programme (minimum 3–5 years preferred).
		
			*Previous leadership experience as an MYP Coordinator, subject leader, or curriculum coordinator.
		
			*A strong understanding of IB philosophy, standards, and assessment practices.
		
			*A collaborative and supportive leadership style that inspires confidence and professional growth in others.
		
			*Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
		
			*A recognized teaching qualification and a relevant degree (Master’s in Education or leadership qualification advantageous).
