Secondary English Teacher (IGCSE/GCSE)

SeekTeachers is urgently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Secondary English Teacher to join our client's vibrant Cambridge international school in Yangon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching IGCSE or GCSE English and a passion for inspiring students to achieve academic excellence.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons to secondary students, following the Cambridge IGCSE/GCSE curriculum
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations
- Track and report student progress in line with school assessment policies
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the academic and personal development of students
 
Requirements:
*A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
*A relevant degree in English or a related field
*Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching Secondary English
*Familiarity with Cambridge curriculum standards and assessments
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*International teaching experience is an advantage

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary up to 2000  USD (U.S. Dollar) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
