Job Title: KHDA Approved Year 1 Teacher – British School – Dubai

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Start Date: August or September 2025 (Immediate Joiners Strongly Preferred)

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious British international school in Dubai, which is seeking a qualified and KHDA-approved Year 1 Teacher to join their dedicated team. This school prides itself on delivering a high-quality British curriculum in a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports the holistic development of every child.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is enthusiastic about early years learning and committed to inspiring young learners through creative and engaging teaching practices.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or Early Years/Foundation Stage teaching

  • Valid teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)

  • KHDA, ADEK, or SPEA teaching approval is mandatory

  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, ideally in a British curriculum setting

  • UAE Teaching License (TLS) is advantageous

  • Must be available to join by August/September 2025 or immediately

  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and planning skills

Role Expectations:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative Year 1 lessons aligned to the British National Curriculum

  • Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence

  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students

  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership

  • Participate in school events, professional development, and community activities
