Position: Full-Time Homeroom Teacher
Location: RAK American School, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE
Start Date: Immediate / August 2025
Salary: AED 10,000 – 13,000 per month (based on qualifications and experience)
About the Role
RAK American School is seeking dynamic and committed Homeroom Teachers to join our team for the upcoming academic year. We are an American curriculum-based school dedicated to fostering academic excellence and holistic student development. We’re looking for educators who are enthusiastic, skilled, and passionate about guiding young learners in a positive, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Teach core subjects including English, Math, Science, and Social Studies to a designated homeroom class.
Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere that supports student growth.
Plan, prepare, and deliver effective and high-quality lessons aligned with the American curriculum.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to both students and parents.
Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership to enhance the learning experience.
Participate actively in school events, meetings, and professional development sessions.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor in Primary Education or a relevant field (a valid teaching license or certification is highly preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally in an American curriculum school.
Demonstrated classroom management skills and the ability to create an organized learning environment.
Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine passion for student achievement.
