The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Computer Science Teacher to join the team this August. The successful candidate will teach up to IGCSE and A Level, inspiring students with innovative teaching methods and a strong understanding of technology's role in education.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons in line with the British curriculum.
*Prepare students for GCSE and A Level examinations, ensuring excellent outcomes.
*Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
*Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
*Integrate technology into teaching practices to enhance learning experiences.
*Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and drive innovation.
*Participate in school-wide activities and contribute to the wider school community.
Qualifications and Experience:
*Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Experience teaching Computer Science up to GCSE and A Level.
*Strong understanding of programming languages, software development, and computational theory.
*Proven track record of student achievement in computer science courses.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
