Head of Department Business Studies | HoD Business Studies | Teach in the United Arab Emirates
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Business Studies to join our team of educators in Ras al Khaimah, UAE. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, as well as a deep understanding of the subject matter and the ability to lead a team of teachers.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive Business Studies curriculum that meets the needs of students of varying abilities and backgrounds.

Provide leadership and direction to a team of Business Studies teachers, including lesson planning, assessment, and professional development.

Ensure that all teaching materials and resources are up-to-date and aligned with the school's standards and policies.

Monitor and assess student progress, provide feedback to students and parents, and keep accurate records of student performance.

Collaborate with other departments and staff to promote a positive school culture and support student success.

Engage with parents and the wider community to promote the school and its programs.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business with a teaching qualification

Teaching certification or license from a recognized authority

Master's degree in Business Studies, Education, or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Business Studies at the high school level, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Strong knowledge of current trends and best practices in Business Studies education.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and improvement.

Experience of being a HoD in the GCC is beneficial
