A private international school in China is recruiting a dynamic and energetic Early Years teacher to join their team in February 2013. The school follows EYFS curriculum for students from 2.5 to 5 years old.
The school campus is located in an exclusive residential gated area which gives students a safe, quiet, fun and family friendly environment. The facilities are well-equipped such as library, music room, art room, dance room, indoor soft toy playroom, auditorium, indoor and outdoor playground.
This is a brand new school which will be ready in February 2013 start with 2 classes and expected to grow up to 12 classes in the future. Job descriptions

Plan, prepare and organise activities for 2.5-5 years old group in line with EYFS curriculum and able to meet the diverse needs and interests of each child

Maintain individual records for each child based on observation and interaction in order to monitor students’ progress

Behave in a warm, friendly yet professional manner towards students, parents and colleagues

Participate in all tasks required to run the nursery smoothly

Participate in parents and school meetings

Participate in professional development activities

Discuss students’ development with parents and ensure they aware their students’ progress
Hunan is in the south central part of China which also next to many big cities eg Hubei, Guangdong, Chongqing, Jiangxi. Weather in Hunan is subtropical and humid, the average temperature during summer is about 28-32’C and about 4-10’C in winter. In the capital of Hunan Province, Changsha has a well-connected transportation network, ie the largest and excellent facilitated international airport within the province and it’s also one of the busiest airports in China too; from Changsha to Shanghai takes only 8 hours via high speed bullet train. People in Changsha enjoy the nightlife, as you can find many restaurants, foot spas, pubs and karaoke in the city.
Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary from 14,000 up to 19,000
CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month
based on experience and qualification,
15-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 2,000 CNY per month
CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
8,000 (Reimburse upon arrival) CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi)
Allowance is provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:
Emergency evacuation given
Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
