An international school is hiring a creative and dynamic Primary teacher to join the team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate requires the following:
 
**Plan, prepare and deliver lessons to lower Primary students
**Monitor, assess and record students’ learning progress development
**Identify the particular needs of each student and plan the response
**Create and maintain a fun, organised and tidy learning environment in the classroom
**Work closely with the team in curriculum planning
**Attend staff meetings
**Develop the link and communicate with parents
**Participate continuous professional development courses
 
This private international school follows UK National Curriculum for students from Key Stage 1 to key Stage 5 ageing between 5- 18 years old. The whole school has 600 students consist of 5% expatriate students and 95% non-expatriate students. There are 60 academic staff mixed with 20% of expatriates and 80% non-expatriates.
 
The school is located in the south of Peninsular Malaysia and has a purpose built modern campus with excellent facilities such as air-conditioned classrooms, athletic tracks, basketball courts, football field, cafeteria, volleyball court, multi-purpose hall, art & design technology, music room, language support lab, science lab, ICT labs, medical room and living skills workshop. 
 
Malaysia is the most developed country in Southeast Asia after Singapore.  The national language in the country is Malay but due to the multi ethnicity society, other languages such as Mandarin, Cantonese, English and Tamil are widely spoken too. Malaysia is famous for its island, beaches and other natural landscape. Each of the state in Malaysia is unique and has its own history. Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
2 Years
Type of Staff:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 8,000 up to 11,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of RM1,500   MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) provided
