Primary Teacher – British Curriculum School, Yangon
An expanding British curriculum school in Yangon, Myanmar is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join its vibrant academic team. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about primary education, committed to high academic standards, and able to create an engaging and nurturing learning environment for young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the British curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
-Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess and monitor student progress and provide regular feedback
- Maintain effective communication with parents and colleagues
- Integrate interactive and creative teaching strategies into daily instruction
- Participate actively in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
Requirements
*Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
*Recognised teaching qualification/certification
*Minimum 2–3 years of primary teaching experience
*Strong knowledge and understanding of the British curriculum
*Excellent classroom management and communication skills
*Fluent English speaker with strong written and verbal communication abilities
*Commitment to student wellbeing and academic achievement
*Preference will be given to candidates who: have a strong UK curriculum background/have previous experience teaching in British international schools
*International teaching experience is an advantage but not essential.
