Are you an experienced and passionate IBDP Coordinator ready for a new challenge in a vibrant and growing international community? Our client is an innovative, forward-thinking school in Guangzhou, China, seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated IBDP Coordinator to join their team in August 2026.
 
About the Role:
As the IBDP Coordinator, you will be a key leader in the academic development of their high school program, fostering a rich, inclusive, and rigorous learning environment for our students. You will play a pivotal role in managing the delivery of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, supporting both students and teachers, and ensuring that our IBDP curriculum aligns with the values and vision of our school.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and support a team of dedicated educators, fostering collaboration and sharing best practices within the IBDP faculty.
- Curriculum Development & Implementation: Ensure the IBDP curriculum is delivered effectively, in line with IB standards, while maintaining a focus on student-centered learning.
- Student Support & Guidance: Oversee the academic and personal growth of IBDP students, providing tailored guidance to help them thrive.
- Professional Development: Organize and deliver ongoing professional development for staff, ensuring they stay current with IBDP trends and best practices.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the school, students, parents, and the IB organization, maintaining clear and transparent communication.
- Strategic Planning & Assessment: Manage the administration of assessments, monitor student progress, and contribute to the school’s overall strategic development.
 
About You:
You are a highly motivated and visionary educational leader with:
*A proven track record as an IBDP Coordinator or experienced IBDP teacher, with a deep understanding of the IB philosophy and curriculum.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of inspiring and supporting a diverse team of educators.
*A passion for working with students and fostering their academic and personal growth in a multicultural environment.
*A commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of educational best practices.
*Experience in managing IBDP assessment procedures, timelines, and maintaining strong relationships with the IB organization.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
7 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary   CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
