The Role:
The school is urgently seeking an experienced and passionate World History Teacher to join their Humanities department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Cambridge AS & A Level History, with a proven track record of academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach World History at AS & A Level to high-achieving international students.
- Prepare and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons in line with the Cambridge curriculum.
- Develop schemes of work, assessment materials, and resources to support learning.
- Provide regular feedback to students and parents on academic progress.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, trips, and co-curricular activities.
- Participate in departmental planning and professional development.
Requirements:
*A Bachelor’s degree in History or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
*Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
*Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching AS & A Level History (CIE experience highly desirable).
*Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
*Enthusiasm for international education and a willingness to adapt to a multicultural environment.
