Role Overview

As a Head of Department, you will:

• Lead curriculum planning and ensure high-quality teaching in your subject

• Mentor and support subject teachers to enhance instructional practices

• Contribute to school-wide policies, initiatives, and professional development programs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject; advanced qualifications preferred

• Recognized teaching and leadership qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)

• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience, with prior leadership or HOD experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of IB, UK, or US curriculum frameworks

• Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership skills
