As a Head of Department, you will:
Lead curriculum planning and ensure high-quality teaching in your subject
Mentor and support subject teachers to enhance instructional practices
Monitor student progress and implement strategies to improve outcomes
Collaborate with school leadership to maintain academic standards
Contribute to school-wide policies, initiatives, and professional development programs
Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject; advanced qualifications preferred
Recognized teaching and leadership qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience, with prior leadership or HOD experience preferred
Strong knowledge of IB, UK, or US curriculum frameworks
Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership skills
