School Advisor - Saudi Arabia | Strategic Leadership in Education | Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

A top-tier American curriculum school in Riyadh is looking for a School Advisor to support the strategic development and operational success of the school. This key role focuses on driving educational excellence, school improvement, and professional development across the institution.

Role Overview:

As a School Advisor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance student achievement, improve behavioural standards, and align curricula with US Common Core guidelines. You’ll collaborate closely with the Principal, Vice Principals, and Heads of Department to ensure effective teaching, learning, and the overall success of the school.

Your core responsibilities will include providing ongoing leadership and support for curriculum and instruction, guiding school improvement efforts, and driving data-driven decisions to ensure the school’s continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student achievement, progress, and behaviour across the school.
  • Act as a School Improvement Advisor, working closely with leadership to enhance teaching standards, curricular adaptation, and overall school performance.
  • Lead professional development for school leaders, including Principals, Vice Principals, and Heads of Department.
  • Support the school in achieving accreditation and successful inspection outcomes.
  • Undertake other ad hoc duties as needed in consultation with the Deputy Director General (DDG).

Desired Experience & Skills:

  • Experience Integrating MOE Subjects: Expertise in adapting the Ministry of Education (MOE) subjects to the US Common Core framework.
  • Proven Track Record in School Improvement: Experience leading or advising on major school improvement initiatives, particularly in K-12 institutions.
  • Accreditation & Inspection Knowledge: Familiarity with the accreditation process and school inspection requirements.
  • Strong Leadership Background: Successful experience as a school leader (e.g., Principal, School Improvement Advisor, or Consultant) in a similar educational environment.
  • Data-Driven Instruction: Ability to implement data-driven decision-making processes to improve teaching and student outcomes.
  • Experience Working with a Diverse Student Body: Ideally, experience in schools with a large percentage of host-country nationals or international students.

Academic Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Education or Educational Leadership (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in school leadership or educational consultancy, ideally in a K-12 school.
  • Experience with School Improvement programs and strategies, particularly in international or diverse settings.
  • Strong Communication Skills – Ability to work collaboratively with leadership teams, faculty, and stakeholders.
  • Experience with US Common Core & MOE Integration – Knowledge of curriculum adaptation and integration of Ministry of Education standards within international frameworks.
