Physics Teacher | Teacher of Physics | ASAP Start


We are seeking a qualified and experienced Female Physics teacher to join our prestigious educational institution in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students in grades 9-12.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  1. Design and deliver engaging and effective physics lessons that meet the learning needs of students at different levels of ability and backgrounds
  2. Create lesson plans, assessments, and other teaching materials that align with the curriculum standards
  3. Utilize a range of instructional strategies and technologies to facilitate learning and foster student engagement and participation
  4. Manage classroom behaviors and create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
  5. Provide regular feedback to students on their progress and offer guidance and support to help them achieve their learning goals
  6. Collaborate with other teachers, department heads, and school administrators to promote academic excellence and continuous improvement in teaching and learning
  7. Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities as required
Qualifications and Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field
  2. Teaching certification or licensure from an accredited institution
  3. Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Physics at the high school level
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  5. Strong knowledge of physics concepts and principles, and ability to teach them in an engaging and accessible way
  6. Familiarity with the UAE curriculum and education system is preferred
  7. Fluency in English is required

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
2 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience
Additional:
**Experience of the IB Curriculum is beneficial but not essential as training will be given
**Experience of USA Curriculum such as American Harcourt, AP and Common Core is highly valued
**It will be beneficial to your application if you have experience of working in the Middle East or with non-native speakers of English

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 12375 up to 16,200  AED (UAE Dirham) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
Housing:
Based on application  fully furnished Housing provided

Flights:
Flight(s) provided annual flights for the teacher only
Utility Bills:
500AED per month
Baggage Allowance:
up to 500 USD on actual reciept
Bereavement Leave:
up to 500 USD on actual reciept

Gratuity Amount:
Gratuity Amount of 1 month bonus pay for each year accrued is provided

2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
Additional information:
**Tuition is provided for 2 children aged 3-18 years of age
**IB workshop training provided up to $3000 as well as in-house CPD
