Education Requirements:
-
A Bachelors Degree in Library and Information Science or a related field from an accredited university
-
Should have teaching and assessment experience in a range of areas within the specific discipline;
-
ideally, I would prefer a candidate with a teaching qualification or license i.e PGCE with Qualified Teachers Status (QTS), Valid U.S Teaching License, Bachelor of Education or SACE Certification, or a well-recognized teaching license

A minimum of 3 years experience in the library industry good knowledge of library and information services, systems, procedures, and current developments;

Experience and skills in library and information services, particularly information literacy programs;

Well developed communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and information technology skills;

Extensive knowledge of curriculum and related assessment practices within the specific discipline; and

The candidate should have an understanding and ability to implement the competency-based assessment.
