Our client is a newly established British school based in Cairo, Egypt. The international school will be offering the UK Curriculum to students from aged 3-7.
Our client is currently looking for an experienced Key Stage 1 teacher to join them in the next academic year.
An ideal candidate should have:
** Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
**Undergraduate degree in related field plus appropriate post-graduate educational qualifications
(teaching certificate, Master’s degree etc.)
**Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in schools
**Recent classroom experience with Early Years pupils
**Proven track-record of appropriate professional development
**Knowledge and understanding of the development of children between the ages of 3 – 7
**Knowledge and experience of assessment procedures, moderation and evaluation at Early Years and
KS1 of the English National Curriculum
The class teacher will:
**Share the responsibility for the planning, teaching and assessments of the subjects to which they have
been assigned by the school.
**Be required to carry out other such duties as the Head may reasonably direct from time to time.
**Display the highest standards of professionalism in their teaching and in their relationships with their
colleagues and the wider School community.
