We are seeking an individual who possesses the ability to deliver OUTSTANDING English Lessons, is confident with regards to the teaching of those with English as an Additional Language and has the ability to confidently LEAD a department and COMMUNICATE effective ideas and strategies with regards to both TEACHING and LEARNING to their department.
Teachers will possess the ability to support students in developing their understanding in the field of Science. Teachers will aim to provide students with a solid foundation in which they can develop their skills. The aim of the teacher will be to support collaboration, encourage ethical behaviors, utilize new technologies and one whom promotes LIFELONG LEARNING.

The Ideal Applicant:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills and will possess an inept ability to communicate ideas and strategies to a department of English Teachers. The ideal applicant will have a history of providing highly engaging lessons with the use of modern-day literature and other forms of media. Emphasis will be placed on engaging students by using Novels, Texts and the incorporation of Information Technology in the class. The ideal candidate will be expected to have a minimum of three years teaching experience in the field, and references will indicate a track record of a history of effective teaching. The Head of English will also be expected to promote cohesion and professionalism and serve as a role model to all on daily basis.
Education and Qualifications:
**Bachelor's Degree in English or relative field
**Valid American Teaching License, PGCE with English as a specialism, Bachelors of Education or SACE Certification
**Ideally 3 years or more fully qualified teaching experience
**Experience with the American Common Core Curriculum
