Position: English Teacher
The UAE Public school system is looking to hire experienced English Teacher to join for September 2019 - January 2020 Start.
The Ministry of Education from the UAE will be coming to India to interview in person. This is your chance to join the World's LARGEST education reform to raise the standard of education in the United Arab Emirates.
The UAE public school system covers 700 schools across all the Emirates: Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Dubai, Umm Al Quwain, and Abu Dhabi.
You can be recruited in any one of the schools where they have the most need for you.
I am looking for English Candidate who must have a sound understanding of the mechanics of the English language, with strong written and verbal communication skills. It is essential that the candidate is equipped with teaching strategies that promote best practice. Candidate should possess a positive “can do” attitude.
English Teachers work in teams, led by Lead Teachers and supported by a Sector Specialist, with each member contributing to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning materials and support for students.
English Secondary Teachers are responsible for the successful implementation of English Language Curriculum across grades 6-12
English Teachers should be able to:

Be smart and present a positive image of themselves and the English Department at all times

Integrate with colleagues from different cultures

Perform all aspects of their role with an understanding of the wider strategy

Plan effectively and manage their workload
-
Operate in arduous weather conditions (hot)

Gain the confidence and respect of Emirati personnel at all levels
Engliah Teacher Requirments:
-
BA, B.Ed in English, Languages, Linguistics + CELTA (or Level 5 equivalent)
-
PGCE in Secondary Education with a focus on English, Languages, Linguistics
-
A minimum of 2 years teaching experience post teaching qualification
Desirable:

PGCE + CELTA
-
DELTA (TEFL Q status)

MA TEFL
-
M.Ed
English Teachers should possess:

Gain an understanding of working with Arab youth who will learn English as a second language.

Create a positive, active, language-rich learning environment.

Support the learning process by identifying needs and guiding students to achieve their learning objectives.

Ensure assessments are delivered according to the assessment strategy and guidelines, in a valid and rigorous manner.

Maintain an accurate record of student achievement and performance.

Create positive and effective relationships with colleagues.
Language:
Excellent oral and written English is essential. The following proficiency certificates are accepted and should be presented before an interview.

IELTS 7 Academic / 7.5 General (with a minimum of 6.5 in each skill)
Salary Package:
-
TAX-FREE salary from 16,000 AED to 21,000 AED per month based on qualification and experience (300,000 INR - 400,000 INR - PCM)
