This private school is situated at the North East of Shanghai city which can easy access by metro (line 10) or buses. The school campus is gated and surrounded by schools and universities, which provide a safe and quiet learning environment to students.
The school follows Cambridge International Examination syllabus, offers IGCSE and A’Level programme for students from Year 10 to Year 13 in order to prepare local Chinese students for further education aboard with global vision but also uphold hold their Chinese spirit.
There are 300 students enrolled in 2012-2013, the school is expanding and are estimating the number of student to rise by 1000 over the following 3 years. There are also 35 staff in the whole school mixed with 50% expatriate teachers and 50% non-expatriate teachers. All teachers are highly qualified, well-trained and passionate for teaching.
Shanghai (meaning On the Sea) is a multicultural metropolis consisting of modern and traditional Chinese features. Shanghai population is about 23 million of which 12.1 million live in the urban areas. Across the Huangpu River, it’s the most famous Pudong district, the stunning modern skyscrapers are located right next to each other such as Oriental Pearl Tower, Jinmao Tower, Shanghai World Financial Centre and all the 5* hotels. The Nanjing Road also known as No. 1 Street in China is located between the Bund and the People’s Square, there are 600 shops, restaurants, clubs, bars and hotels on both sides of the walkway. Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary from 18000 up to 26000
CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month
based on experience and qualification,
15-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 5000 CNY per month
CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
8000 (Reimburse upon arrival) CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi)
