One of our prestigious clients in China is hiring an energetic and positive Global Perspectives teacher ideally with experience in China to join their team in August 2013.
 
This private school follows Cambridge International Examination (CIE) syllabus from Year 10 to Year 13 aged 15-18. The school has total 300 students at the moment and planning to growth 50% every year. The high calibre students in the school are aiming to get into the top global universities e.g. Oxford, Cambridge, Stanford, Yale, MIT etc.
 
There are 35 staff in the whole school composed of 50% expatriate teachers and 50% non-expatriate teachers. All teachers are highly qualified, trained and experienced, professional development is provided to ensure syllabus is up to date and promote high quality of learning.
 
The school campus is within the university area, which surrounded by schools, universities and government headquarters. Safe environment is provided for students, security guards and gate are at the entrance, no one would be allowed to enter the school without a valid permit. The facilities include climate controlled classrooms, library, science labs, art & design rooms, multi-purpose hall, gymnasium, tennis courts, basketball courts, canteen and residential blocks for boarders.
 
Job descriptions:
 
*To teach across the age and ability range as necessary
*To assist in the preparation and marking of assessments
*To liaise closely with the Head of Secondary and Principal on all matters
*To ensure that all classes are taught according to the curriculum and examination syllabus
*To ensure that marking, assessment techniques and record keeping are carried out in accordance with the school policies
*To coordinate the preparation of all test and mark schemes
*To maintain classroom discipline
*To attend all parents meetings
*To participate in department meetings
*To participate in CPD activities

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 18000 up to 26000   CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 15-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 5000 CNY per month   CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
8000 (Reimburse upon arrival)  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) Allowance is provided
